Language

• The page that asks you to continue to Content Uploader is titled "Approve the connection".

Added

• Fills the rest of an article's properties: the article options of Joomla's Options tab (Show Title, Link Titles, Show Tags, Show Intro Text, the info block, the category, author and date displays, navigation, voting, hits, unauthorised links and the position of links), each with Use Global, Show and Hide (or Yes and No); Read More Text and Browser Page Title.
• Meta Author, Robots and Content Rights, beside the meta description and keywords.
• Links A, B and C, each with its text and target window, and the intro and full article image classes.
• Start Featured and Finish Featured, and Ordering.
• Groups the article's fields into sections, so a long list stays easy to read.

Notes

• A field of these left out of a file keeps what the article has. An empty cell puts an option back to Use Global and empties a text, as in Joomla's own form.
• Alternative layout and the associations between translations are not offered yet.

Fixed

• No longer offers fields whose access level, or whose group's, the publishing account cannot see, or fields used only inside subforms. Joomla left their values out when saving.

• Fills every custom field type Joomla brings: also checkboxes, lists and integers with several values, number, user, user group list, SQL, image list, media (with alt text) and subforms, including repeatable ones.
• Fills the field types of Advanced Custom Fields by Tassos (the free version): URL with link text and target, email, telephone, timepicker, true/false, country, currency, articles, map markers, video, SoundCloud, download button, progress bar, QR code, iframe, Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Gravatar, HTML5 audio and Convert Forms.
• Understands fields of other extensions that build on Joomla's own field types.
• Reports which of the site's article fields it cannot fill, and why, so Content Uploader can show them.
• Says when a new article has no value for a required custom field, for example because its image could not be used, instead of a general custom field error.

Added

• Connects a Joomla 5 or 6 site to a Content Uploader workspace, without a Joomla password or API token.
• Publishes as an account chosen from the users who may create articles, so a dedicated account never needs to sign in. Only users who may manage extensions can connect, change the account or disconnect.
• Creates and updates articles through Joomla's own article model, with the permissions and text filters of the account it publishes as, so content history, tags, custom fields and Smart Search work as when an editor saves.
• Creates missing categories and tags, parent first, and refuses ambiguous or trashed matches.
• Sets intro and full article images from ZIP uploads, web addresses and the site's images folder, and delivers each image once.
• Sets custom fields of the supported types, limited to the categories they apply to.
• Skips articles that are checked out, and updates them on the next run.
• Access lasts 90 days for security. Members of the connected workspace can renew it in Content Uploader before it expires, without anyone signing in to Joomla, and the connection screen shows when it was last renewed. Renewing replaces the access key; the key it replaces keeps working for ten minutes, so requests already sent can finish.
