WooCommerce requirements and what to check on your shop
The WooCommerce, WordPress and PHP versions Content Uploader needs, who connects the shop, and which store settings change the fields you are offered.

A WooCommerce shop is connected as a WordPress site: the plugin Freakedout Content Uploader CSV & Excel Import is installed on it and approved from Settings → Content Uploader (connect your WordPress site). The plugin finds WooCommerce by itself. This page lists what the shop needs for Products to be offered, and which of the shop's settings change the fields.
Requirements#

| The account | A WordPress administrator approves the connection, and products are written with that account's permissions. A Shop manager cannot connect a shop. |
WooCommerce's high-performance order storage makes no difference: Content Uploader does not read or write orders. Products are never deleted.
Check that Products is offered#
- On the Sites page, select Refresh fields for the shop.
- Open Supported content types and fields. Products · Publishing supported is in the list, with the fields of a product.
- When you create a configuration for this shop, Products is in the Content type list.
Install WooCommerce on a site that is already connected, or update it, and then select Refresh fields; the shop's content types are read when you connect and when you refresh.
Which settings change the fields#
The fields are the ones your shop uses. The plugin reads these settings when you connect or refresh:

| The currency and its decimals | Prices are shown in the shop's currency, with its number of decimals. The review and the product card say whether prices include tax. |
| The shop's time zone | A sale date means the start of that day, or the end of the last day, in the shop's time zone. |
If one of these changes after a configuration was saved, select Refresh fields. The next review then says The destination's fields changed since the configuration was saved. Open the configuration to map new fields, or confirm the changes below. (what needs your attention).
Other plugins on the shop#
Some plugins price, stock or translate products outside the product itself: translation and multi-currency plugins, subscriptions, bundles, product add-ons. When the plugin finds one, the editor and the review show a note that names it. Content Uploader then updates the product's own values only; what the other plugin keeps elsewhere is not updated and is not part of the review.
